Responsibilities
The Oskaloosa Police Department is responsible for keeping and filing police records generated by the department. These include incident reports, crash reports, arrest records, and photos. The department maintains both paper and electronic copies of the following records:
  • Arrest records
  • Crash reports
  • Incident reports
  • Photos

Records Requests
All public police records requests will need to have the Freedom of Information Act Form filled out and turned in before a request can be processed.  These can be requested in person between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, by sending an email to Police Records, or by faxing a records request to (641) 673-8275. 

Please include names, dates, and type of information requested. Standard fees for copies and reports may apply to requests.
