[ARCHIVED] New City Website Debuts

Note the Difference with the City of Oskaloosa.

The City of Oskaloosa is excited to announce the launch of its new website. The site was designed by CivicPlus and reflects the personality of Oskaloosa while incorporating a host of new and improved features and tools in an effort to help residents and visitors quickly locate the information and services they desire.

The new homepage is easy to navigate and breaks down information for residents, businesses, and visitors. The website also contains links for City Government, City Departments, and the Oskaloosa Public Library. A search feature takes residents directly to specific information while the “myConnections” module allows the user to personalize their own experience on the website.

The website is intended to be an interactive communications tool for both the City and residents. An online calendar (Public Meetings and Special Events) allows residents to find detailed information about upcoming events and/or sign up to receive notifications on these events. Other notifications such as City Council agendas, emergency alerts, and general city news in the form of emails or text messages can be found on the “Notify Me” button on the home page.
