Just a few reminders on signs and placement. Political signs announcing candidates seeking public political office or pertinent political issues cannot be placed in the public “right of way.” The right of way can generally be determined as anything from the street to the building side of the sidewalk. If no sidewalk is in place a general rule is approximately 10 feet from the street.
In addition, unless permission has been granted by another property owner allowing for the legal placement, event and political signs may only be placed on personally owned property.
