Lacey Recreational Complex Roadway Improvement Project

Stadium Drive (formerly 238th Street), west of Green Street, and Kentfield Drive (the formerly unnamed road north of Orchard Avenue and west of the elementary school).
Project Description
This project included the construction of approximately 2,950 feet of new pavement, as well as additions to the recreational trail and storm water improvements within the Lacey Recreation Complex. The preliminary construction plans can be viewed below:

Project Benefits
This project replaced the previously existing dirt and gravel roads with a new, more durable concrete surface. Water drainage and flow were improved with the storm sewer additions in this area. In addition, the recreation trail provides improved connectivity for pedestrians.

- Stadium Drive, west of Green Street
- Kentfield Drive, running north from Orchard Avenue and west of the elementary school.
Project Status
The City Council accepted this project as completed in November 2019. Bids were opened on February 7, 2018, with DeLong Construction being the low bidder, and a public hearing was held on March 5, 2018. This project has been allotted 90 working days.
