Building Codes
The city currently utilizes the following building and construction codes as adopted by the Oskaloosa Municipal Code:
- 2021 International Residential Code (IRC), with local amendments
- 2021 International Building Code (IBC), with local amendments
- 2021 International Mechanical Code (IMC)

These codes are available for viewing at Oskaloosa City Hall, Development Services Department, 220 South Market Street. Codes can also be ordered online through the website.
