Council Meetings
City
Council meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month
at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City
Hall, 220 South Market Street, unless Monday is a holiday. City
council meetings may be viewed live on MCG's cable access
Channel 12 and are reshown at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. the day after
the regular meeting and on the following Monday at 6:30 p.m. and
Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Mediacom broadcasts the regular council
meetings on cable access Channel 12 the day after the meeting at
9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m

There are four city council
committees. Each committee is comprised of a chair and three
other council members. Following are the committees and the
city council members who serve on them:

Mayor
David Krutzfeldt
(former city council member) was appointed to serve the remainder
of Mayor David Dixon's term at the September 8, 2009 city council
meeting. He was elected Mayor in November 2009, term to expire
December 31, 2011.

Annual
Report
In
1995 city staff began assembling an annual report of city departmental
activities. Reports through FY 2006-07are available for public viewing
at the Oskaloosa Public Library and the City Manager's Office.
Goal
Setting Report
The
City Council and staff each held goal setting sessions on March
31, 2008. The purpose of the sessions was to identify and
prioritize the city's overall goals and objectives for the next
