| Mayor
and City Council The Mayor is elected citywide and facilitates the City Council meetings. The Mayor does not have a vote on the City Council as outlined in the Oskaloosa Charter. City Council Meetings City Council meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 220 South Market Street, unless Monday is a holiday. City council meetings may be viewed live on MCG's cable access Channel 12 and are reshown at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. the day after the regular meeting and on the following Monday at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Mediacom broadcasts the regular council meetings on cable access Channel 12 the day after the meeting at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Goal Setting Report The City Council and staff each held goal setting sessions on March 31, 2008. The purpose of the sessions was to identify and prioritize the city's overall goals and objectives for the next two years. View the goal setting report. |
